McGregor has appeared in multiple EA Sports UFC titles over the years due to his ties with the company but recently became an investor and co-owner of the American boxing promotion Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, also known as BKFC.While fans have long been begging for EA Sports to revive the Fight Night franchise for years now, the studio has remained committed to releasing new UFC games on a biennial basis. Although boxing still remains a monumentally huge sport all over the world, the UFC, and MMA in general, have become a smash hit with combat sports fans ever since the former grew in popularity in the early 2000s. In a recent tweet, McGregor said, “I am currently working on a [Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship] video game.” He went on to explain that the upcoming title would have “fast-paced action with nasty cuts and blood splatter and the sound of bare knuckles on skull impact never heard nor seen before in a video game.” The star then told fans to stay tuned for further updates but didn’t reveal if the game would be a console and PC title, or if this would simply be another boxing mobile game.
